Ragdoll Football Pick 6 Badge Guide

Earn the Pick 6 badge by intercepting a pass and returning it for a touchdown, with a safe plan for coverage, possession and the return lane.

The official Pick 6 badge condition is: Intercept a pass and return it for a touchdown. Both parts must happen in the connected play. An interception without the touchdown is useful defense but does not satisfy the published condition; a touchdown after an ordinary reception is not a Pick 6.

Create an interception chance

Protect the scoring-side lane and keep the receiver plus quarterback in view. Do not stand directly behind the receiver, where you must react to every turn. Use leverage that lets you move toward the landing space after the pass is released.

A current community guide reports clicking or tapping as the ball arrives, but Roblox’s official control list does not publish the catch input or window. Follow current prompts and focus first on position. The catching and interceptions guide explains that evidence boundary.

Do not guess on every throw. A missed gamble can concede a touchdown. Wait for a pass whose landing lane you can actually contest.

Secure possession first

When the ball arrives, stabilize the camera and use the current live input once. After contact, confirm that your avatar owns the ball. Physics collisions can make the result unclear, and touching the ball is not the same as recording an interception.

Turn away from the densest traffic before accelerating. The badge depends on completing the return, so the first safe step matters more than an immediate dive.

If a teammate is already blocking an open lane, follow the space they create. If defenders surround you, protect possession and accept that the badge attempt may end even though the interception helped the team.

Plan the touchdown return

Identify the correct scoring direction immediately. Keep enough camera width to see pursuit from both sides. Run toward open field, then make one decisive cut rather than zigzagging until defenders close.

Use a dive only for the final meaningful gap. PC X, mobile DIVE, and console X/Square commit your body and can leave you grounded after a miss. The diving guide helps separate that choice from handoff context.

Do not force a handoff during the return unless the live game clearly supports it and the teammate has a better route. The official badge description says to return the interception; whether a later exchange preserves credit is not documented.

Pick a favorable defensive situation

Pass-heavy opponents create more chances than an offense that keeps the ball on the ground. Defend routes near open return space rather than crowding only the goal line. A pick deep in your own territory offers a longer return but more obstacles; a pick near the opponent’s goal line offers less distance but possibly tighter traffic.

There is no official “best spot” or guaranteed setup. Use the offense’s actual habits and avoid colluding or exploiting. The badge is designed around a legitimate takeaway and score.

Why the badge may not award

  • The game did not record the possession as an interception.
  • The return ended before a touchdown.
  • A handoff, fumble, or possession change broke the connected play.
  • The touchdown was credited after a different possession state.
  • The award is delayed even though the condition completed.
  • A current-version rule differs from the visible result and needs in-game confirmation.

The API does not define these boundaries, so do not state one as the cause without live evidence. Check the scoreboard, possession state, and badge inventory after the play.

Practice without hurting the defense

On early plays, maintain coverage leverage and finish tackles when the interception is unavailable. Once you recognize the quarterback’s preferred target, position for that landing lane without abandoning the scoring side.

After any interception, practice the first three return steps: confirm possession, turn toward open field, and identify pursuit. A composed return creates more Pick 6 chances than a desperate immediate dive.

Use the defender guide for complete responsibilities and Hat Trick if repeated interceptions fit the matchup better.
